Inspection & testing
We offer a testing and inspection service for homes and businesses across Sutton and Croydon. We carry out all types of electrical safety testing for homeowners, landlords, letting agents throughout Sutton, Croydon and surrounding areas. All instructions are tested to meet BS 7671 requirements for electrical installations.
Testing Services:
Electrical Installation Condition Report EICR (this is sometimes known as a periodic inspection report or a landlords certificate). These are now a legal requirement in rental properties every 5 years. EICR’s are priced depending on how many circuits you need testing, minimum charge is £180 plus vat. This is a more formal 7 page report than the visual inspection with the testing being much more in depth.
A visual inspection with some basic tests for £85 plus VAT.
This can be useful if you are purchasing a house want to get an idea of how safe the electrical installation is.
PAT – portable appliance testing. This is testing electrical appliances and items to confirm they are safe for ongoing use. We can do this in your home, a property you rent to others or for your business. It costs £75 plus vat for the first 10 items and then £3.50 plus vat per additional item.
