The River Wandle

I took my 7 year old daughter down on the banks of the Wandle early this morning to see if we could spot the Kingfisher(s) that have returned to the area.  Unfortunately we didn’t see the Kingfisher but did see parrakeets, Blue Tits, Grey wagtails and a Jay (I was in the young ornothologists club many moons ago don’t you know).

It’s good to see the river Wandle thriving.  A number of customers have asked why ‘Wandle’ electrical?  The simple answer is that it is a local landmark.  As I’m sure many of you are aware the Wandle has sources in Carshalton Ponds and Beddington Park and then meanders up towards the Thames – A bit like us really.
